Terms and Conditions

I am very concerned to provide the best customer service possible. The following information contains all you need to know when ordering from Animalia Art. I reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions (T&C’s) at any time. Any variations or amendments to these terms will take effect from posting on this website. The terms which apply at the time you place an order are those that govern that order so it is appropriate to revise these terms periodically.

Each time you place an order you are bound by these terms, particularly as you have agreed to them upon checkout.

When ordering you understand and agree that all pictures of goods displayed are for illustrative purposes only. On occasion some items may be unavailable or out of stock. If this occurs and I am unable to complete all or part of your order, a refund will be provided promptly for the subject items.

I will not be liable to you for loss you or any third party suffers regarding a delay or failure to process your order or deliver goods due to inaccurate or incomplete details provided when ordering. You must always carefully check your order and delivery address details.

I reserve the right to accept or reject your order for any reason at any time. If the order is rejected, you will receive a full refund for any monies paid.

I reserve the right to cancel your order if affected by a genuine error (including in an image, price or description). All monies paid will be promptly refunded.

On occasions, there may be a short delay if I am away from my studio. If there is going to be a delay in providing the items orders, you will be advised via email and given the opportunity to cancel the order if necessary.


When your order is placed, you are charged and agree to pay the price and relevant delivery/postage fees. All prices are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST if/where applicable.

I reserve the right to alter prices without prior notice. Orders placed prior to any change will be supplied at the previous price.

Payment methods include PayPal, which is specified at checkout.

All payments must have cleared before orders are dispatched. Any unprocessed payments will be rejected and notification sent.

Cancellations and Returns

When ordering please make sure you choose carefully as we don’t offer change of mind refunds. There is no guarantee that you will get the original snap button featured in the product image. There is provision at checkout in the Order Notes to advise of the style, colour or type of snap or chain/cord required, if necessary. Otherwise, all steps will be taken to provide a snap that coordinates with the nature of the item or accessory. Generally speaking, most pendants will come with a silver coloured stainless steel chain 46 cm in length.

I fully understand the difficulties of purchasing online. Please read the product description carefully, particularly re length of chain, whether the item is adjustable and the size of the item (such as bracelet circumference).

I will make every effort to resolve any issues promptly if you are dissatisfied with your purchase or an item is faulty.

Please note too that the nature of the original snap may change or evolve over time.

I do not accept cancellations or changes once an order has been placed.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or missing an item, please contact me within 7 days of purchase. The faulty or damaged item(s) are to be returned at your cost and, once confirmed, a full refund will be made, including postage. A receipt for postage costs must be provided.

If a refund is processed, this will be made using the original payment method. If the item(s) are deemed not to be faulty and are damaged by misuse, no refund will be made and you will be required to cover any postage costs.

The customer agrees that they have read the care instructions concerning snap button jewellery on the website, particularly in relation to cleaning and immersing in water (e.g. swimming, handwashing).

All items must be returned unworn and in the original packaging.


There is no guarantee that the products provided are hypoallergenic. It is impossible to predict an individual’s response to products. It is the buyer’s responsibility to take all care in ordering products, particularly if they are aware that they readily react to different metals.


With any special offers or promotions it is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the code is valid and entered correctly upon checkout. Codes cannot be applied after an order has been placed. Please also note that codes may use separate terms and conditions, are non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.


Personal information provided during checkout, emails etc. will be kept on file for the purpose of processing orders, delivery etc. I will not send out unwanted emails and promotional material unless you have previously agreed. Your information will not be shared with any other parties without a legitimate and valid reason (eg. accountant viewing sales data).
