Have entered two pieces in this year’s Poochibald Exhibition. The opening is at the Schoolhouse Gallery at the Rosny Farm Arts Centre at 5.30 pm on Thursday 27 September 2018. The exhibition runs until 14 October 2018. I have entered two pieces. A large A3 size pastel of my Golden Retrievers, Roxy and Bentley and a portrait of a black dog to demonstrate what can be achieved in Scratchboard. This “heavenly” scratchboard piece entitled “B-Archangel!” is an 11 by 14 inch Ampersand Scratchbord with colour added with artist quality colour pencils. The scratching was done with an X-Acto blade and fibreglass brush.
I am also hoping to do a demonstration of Scratchboard at the Dogs Day Out held at the same venue on Sunday 7 October. Watch this space!
